Where We Work

We work in Baja California Sur, México, a biodiversity hub with unique and inspiring landscapes that are home to an abundance of life, including the largest animal in the world, the blue whale. As well as millions of other invisible organisms that sustain thousands of other species — including us.

Proyecto Tiburón

Orgcas partnered with the Agua Amarga community to lead their transition from shark fishing to ocean stewards and expeditions leaders in el Golfo de California.

Focused on community-led scientific research that informs the creation of baseline data to support policy efforts that protect the biodiversity of the area.
